Two Amazing Songs

Well I apologize for my absence in this interesting time of the now. We have uprising in the middle east and I can't even find the time to post daily. At least the Egyptians won't notice that I didn't post for a little bit. And I regret to inform you that I don't even have time to make a thoughtful post today, I'm just going to leave you with two amazing songs that I have heard recently.

Move your mouse with your eyes!

Welcome to the future.

They are making contact lenses that track your eye movement to move the mouse. You know Steven Hawking's stoked. It's crazy, I never thought I would see something like this, now I want to play some video games with it.

I do have a couple questions though, (1) how do you click, I assume it correlate with blinks or something but who knows, and (2) I heard that the only animal who can track mouse movement on a screen is a pig, what would happen if you put these tech lenses on a pig...?

I saw this on a great blog that I follow, Crackin Stuff from the Web, check it out

Wikileaks causes revolution in Tunisia

This is crazy. Wikileaks leaked info on how corrupt their president, Zine el-Abidine, was. After that people showed up in the streets in huge numbers, police tried to disperse them but couldn't. Some street vendor even lit himself on fire to protest the police mistreatment during these protests. Eventually the president fled and their Prime Minister, Mohamed Ghannouchi, said that "as the president of the republic is unable to exercise his functions for the time being, I have assumed, starting now, the powers of the president."

Now that's badass, next step is to overthrow the corrupt in the US, who's with me?

Here's a great montage of pictures from the revolution, check it out.

Somebody wants to buy my music

Just got a call today from a good friend of mine that moved to hollywood to become a singer. I've been making beats for about 2 years and I gave her a couple beats to sing over a while ago. Today she called me to say that an up and coming rapper that she met on a music video set heard the beat I sent her and his manager wants to talk to me. Bummer is that I had my laptop stolen a while ago so most of my beats are gone, but I got a new laptop and already started making fresh ones. Here's the beat the beat the dude heard, what do you think?

NFL Playoffs (JETS v PATS)

Well I've been watching the playoffs all day and I thought it'd be a good idea to make a little post about whats to come. I'll try to explain it so a European can understand it. Probably the messiest game to come will be the New England Patriots and the New York Jets that will be playing tomorrow. Since both teams are so close to each other the rivalry and smack talking has been uncanny. So far the Jets corner (dude who covers a reciever) Antonio Cromartie, has called the Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady (dude who throws the ball) an asshole. Kind of unprofessional but what ever, the Tom responded with something along the lines of "I've been called worse.". The funniest thing I've seen is this video of a Patriots receiver, Wes Welker, making fun of the Jets coach, Rex Ryan. Before you can understand why its funny you must know one thing. The Jets coach has a foot fetish. Watch this an enjoy.

A milestone was reached today...

Brett Farve's sister arrested for cooking meth

Seems that Farve's dick pictures he sent to the jets cheerleader isn't the only skeleton hidden in his closet. His sister in-law, Brandi Farve, is the darkest black sheep of the family. She was arrested in 1996 for she was charged with unlawful use of a weapon in connection with a drive by shooting at a motel in Slidell, La, in 1999 she was arrested for shoplifting with some friends, and now in 2011 she was arrested during a drug bust, she had a meth lab in her bathroom. Local deputies also added that they are "very familar" with Brandi. Luckily she can probably borrow some money from Brett for bail, or at least some wranglers.

Free Carls Jr.

Well today's post is a little less scientifically useful and more practical. It's just an easy way to get free Carls Jr. coupons legally. Basically all you got to do is become a fan of it on facebook and you get to spin a wheel that has a bunch of coupons. I became a fan of it about 2 months ago, forgot about it, then went back to the page today and had 30 spin credits. I used 10 of the spins and got like 3 free coffee and hashrounds (yes their called hashrounds), a couple free combo upgrades, some free fries, and a couple dollar off all-star burgers.

Scientists turn E. Coli Bacteria into Hard Drives

Yup, its what the title says, Chinese scientists are learning to turn bacteria into data storage devices. "The team has devised a way to encrypt and store information in the DNA of bacteria to such an effective degree that they say just one gram of E. coli could store the same amount of data as 450 two-terabyte hard drives." That is crazy futuristic. They even have a three tier sercurity system devised so there could be no cyber threats. Another interesting thing is that since bacteria keeps replicating theoretically they could store data reliably for millennia. I wonder if were going to find some hidden data infused in our own DNA left from some alien speices that's been extinct.

Worlds oldest marijuana stash found

Well they found almost 2 pounds of weed in a 2,700 year old grave in the Gobi Desert. They did a bunch of tests on it and proved that it did in fact contain potent psychoactive properties (THC). This made scientists reevaluate their theory that back in the day they only used hemp to create clothes and rope etc. And another surprising thing was that this wasn't some bammer poo weed, by the size of seeds mixed in with the leaves, along with color and other characteristics, indicate the marijuana came from a cultivated strain. Meaning that this man picked out they male parts that are less psychoactive so it would be more chronic. No pipes or smoking devices were found so they believe they must of orally ingested it or fumigated it like the Scythian tribes north of them did. Although other cultures in the area used hemp to create random goods as early as 7,000 years ago, this find is proof that 2,700 years ago they were using it to get high.

Jim Carrey going back to his roots

Jim Carrey hosted SNL last Saturday and I must say, I kinda expected it to be crappy. Seems like recently hes been doing only family movies and serious movies, lame shit, but on SNL he took it back to his weird, high energy, awkward, hilarious self. It's streaming on hulu right now so I strongly recommend going there and watching the full episode but if you don't have time then watch the videos I embedded.

Soul Train Parody (STRONGLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS)

Black Swan Parody

Carlos Mencia + Joe Rogan = FIGHT

Well I have never liked Carlos Mencia but now I have a good reason to support my view. He steals other comedians jokes. This is a video where Joe Rogan calls him out on stage for it. It also includes many other clips of comedians verifying Rogan's accusations. Definitely worth a watch.

Weirdest Zelda Characters

Well anybody who's played the zelda games knows that they got some of the weirdest characters. I've been playing the games since I was a little kid,  I had the first 2 on the NES. Didn't really get to into them until Ocarina of Time which I remember getting with a N64 for Christmas and it being one of my favorite of all time. This video is definitely worth a watch if you've played or even heard of any of the games.

Enjoy!

Neocube / Buckyballs

My father got 216 small high energy magnetic balls for Christmas called bucky balls, I've been playing with them for quite some time now. Checked out online and some people take it to the next level. Here's two videos of what can be done with them. They are crazy.

It comes in a cube like this...

Trippy geometrical shapes you can make...

Homeless man with a golden voice

This is a really cool story if you haven't heard it already. This homeless guy named Ted Williams chills by a highway with a sign that says hes got a god given gift of a golden voice, and its the truth. He has a perfect radio voice. He said he took classes for it, then got into drugs and alcohol and became homeless. Now hes clean and hes getting lots of job offers.
