Well I realized I've posted many things I like, but never posted anything about my favorite team of all time, the Chargers. I just watched a very good game where we matched up against the Texans and managed to win the game by 6 points. It came all the way down to the last drive and was finished by Paul Oliver intercepting a pass off of their star receiver Andre Johnson who bobbled a pass and kneed it launching it into our players hands.
A little history on the chargers in very recent years, Chargers have been going to the postseason consistently since '06, each year starting slow but making our way there, '08 we came back from a 4-8 record. Last year we made were in the divisional finals against the Jets and our kicker, Nate Kaeding, missed 3 field goals so we lost 14-17. It was devastating, but not as sad as our start this year. Even though many people predicted the Chargers to be a super bowl contender, we have been loosing all over the place because of our stupid special teams. It's been a combination of blocked punts, kickoff returns, and fumbles. Another big factor is that our star running back (HB) and wide receiver (WR) have not been on our team. LT (our previous HB) ended up getting traded cause he's old, and Vincent Jackson (6'6 WR) is not playing because he wants to make more money (being a bitch). We managed to lead the league in yards per game and yards allowed per game, that's number 1 in offense and defense, yet were still only 4-5 and the team that is leading our division is at 6-3. It has been a rough start but today was our first win away from home. I still have faith.
Here's a video summery of the game
