Welcome to the future.
They are making contact lenses that track your eye movement to move the mouse. You know Steven Hawking's stoked. It's crazy, I never thought I would see something like this, now I want to play some video games with it.
I do have a couple questions though, (1) how do you click, I assume it correlate with blinks or something but who knows, and (2) I heard that the only animal who can track mouse movement on a screen is a pig, what would happen if you put these tech lenses on a pig...?
I saw this on a great blog that I follow, Crackin Stuff from the Web, check it out
The concept is brilliant but I think it's too straining on the eyes!
ReplyDeleteThe clicking might be a problem... And what if someone is nearsighted and actually needs contacts or glasses to see... there goes that demographic... cool idea nonetheless!
ReplyDeleteIf you blink to click then I do NOT want to play any games with it. "Oh my god so many enemies! blink blink blink blink"
ReplyDeleteWut? This looks weird lol. Also wondering how to click.

This is a great invention. It will help people with lou gehrig's disease greatly!
ReplyDeleteWant. Levels. Rising.
ReplyDeleteReally interesting
ReplyDeleteReally cool, I was just watching videos on youtube of eye tracking and the process of making it work, and its really interesting to see how far they already are. With average webcams they are able to get consistent 25 frames per second while keeping complete track of the center of your eyeball, absolutely brilliant!
ReplyDeleteIs this for real? Damn that's awesome!
